Tuross Lake
We're based in our home port of Tuross Lakes, South Coast New South Wales where Jack has grown up as a kid. We also operate in the surrounding estuaries and rivers including, but not limited to Wagaonga Inlet - Narooma, etc etc.
The town of Tuross is approximately 4 hours drive South of Sydney. The Tuross estuary forms a complex system of shallow interconnecting channels and lakes - the river varies in depth between 1 and 8 m deep, making it a perfect environment for species such as Bream, whiting, Luderick (or Blackfish), Mulloway (or Jewfish) amongst other typical species. In such a varied and complex system, it really pays to go with an experienced guide to help you de-crypt where the fish are and what they like to eat, at various times of the year.
Wagonga Inlet - Narooma
Situated north and west of Narooma, Wagonga Inlet is fed by three major creeks; Billa Bilba Creek, Burrimbidgee Creek and Punkally Creek. The inlet is tidal into Billa Bilba Creek some 12 km upstream of the entrance. The relatively low fresh water input yields an overall salinity not much reduced from that of seawater. A distinctive feature of the estuary is a well developed marine delta of sandy sediments at the lake end of the inlet (flood tidal delta) south-west of Lavender Point, which provide a great natural nursery for popular recreational species.
Wagonga Inlet is regarded as one of the best estuarine recreational fishing destinations in NSW.
